According to the Resolution of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities of Ukraine dated 28 December 2018 No. 2118, consumers at metering points are divided into two groups – “A” and “B”.
In accordance with the Temporary Procedure, metering points equipped with a commercial electricity metering system (measuring electricity inflow), including installed and commissioned systems such as LUZOD, ASKOE, ASZD, or interval meters with guaranteed daily data reading, are classified as Group “A”, provided that the consumer, ASKOE operator, or data service provider ensures daily reading, processing, and transmission of hourly commercial metering data to the Distribution System Operator (DSO) / TSO. If these conditions are not met, or the consumer has not designated an ASKOE operator or data service provider, such metering points are classified as Group “B”.
Accordingly:
- For Group “A” consumers, the Supplier calculates the price based on the actual hourly consumption profile.
- For Group “B” consumers, the Supplier calculates the price based on an hourly consumption profile provided by the DSO after the billing month.
